Our Projects
The "Star Independent" International Online Film Festival
For over 10 years, we have been bringing together independent filmmakers from around the world. “Star Independent” is an international film festival created by our organization as a platform for independent cinema, creative exchange, and cultural diplomacy.
Over the course of 11 seasons, the festival has traveled from Kyiv and Barcelona to Chicago and Miami, bringing together directors, actors, producers, and screenwriters from Ukraine, the United States, France, Canada, and other countries.
Each season is dedicated to a theme that resonates with the world. The theme of the 11th festival is “Freedom.” Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the film festival has also served as a means of supporting Ukraine through charity auctions, screenings of Ukrainian films, and fundraising efforts for those in need.
The magazine "Ukrainians and the World"
“Ukrainians and the World” is our organization’s premium business magazine covering business and emigration. The magazine shares inspiring stories of Ukrainians who are building careers, starting businesses, and changing the world—from Kyiv to Miami, from Hollywood to Switzerland.
UW Magazine features interviews with entrepreneurs, producers, innovators, and cultural figures, as well as articles on intellectual property, technology, ethno-fashion, and Ukrainian cinema on the international stage. Each issue offers an in-depth look at the people who are putting Ukraine on the global map.
The magazine is published in digital format and is available to readers worldwide. UW Magazine is the voice of the Ukrainian community—a confident voice that inspires new achievements.
