Charity fundraiser

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched an unthinkable and senseless war against Ukraine. The next day, we learned of a large number of civilian casualties and decided to organize a support group. We immediately began working to provide all kinds of assistance, including psychological, financial, and help finding food and shelter both within the country and abroad. On February 26, we held our first rally in support of Ukraine at the VFW post in Durango.

We sold some artwork donated by local artists. The first donated funds were sent to Ukrainians who needed financial assistance to organize transportation and safe shelter. We were also able to help organize essential supplies for one of the bomb shelters in Kyiv. That same day, we met with our new team of volunteers and founded a charitable organization called Intellectual Leadership Inc.

On March 7, we had great success holding a fundraiser at the Durango Rug Company, where over sixty Durango residents came to express their support and solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who are suffering from a full-scale war taking place in the very heart of Europe. We will continue to organize charity events, fundraisers, and support rallies for Ukrainians in dire need of help. We will also report on the work done, the families helped, and the lives supported and saved.
